Heskins H3412XUA Glow in the Dark Anti-Slip Stripe Floor Tile 150 x 610 mm
Heskins H3412XUA Glow in the Dark Stripe Floor Tile combines an abrasive anti-slip surface with a photoluminescent stripe in a pre-cut 150 mm x 610 mm tile. The anti-slip surface prevents mis-steps, falls and injuries, while the glow stripe charges from ambient light and shows the route or edge in darkness.
As a modular tile rather than a continuous tape, it is easy to apply in awkward-shaped rooms, on ledges and on steps that are prone to low light. Pieces of the dual-purpose tiles can be joined to give efficient slip prevention along a route without covering the whole floor. The tile is made from durable PVC that is rigid but flexible enough for smooth installation on even, sealed substrates; total applied thickness is 0.7 mm. Heskins recommends applying at 10 C or above.
Custom printing adds safety messages or directional guidance, for example arrows, evacuation indicators or MIND THE STEP alerts, which Heskins suggests for museums, heritage buildings and galleries as well as industrial sites. Heskins can advise whether a glow tile, a hazard tile or a reflective-plus-glow tile best suits a site.
