Heskins H3412DUA Hazard & Glow in the Dark Anti-Slip Stair Tread Tile 150 x 610 mm
Heskins H3412DUA Hazard and Glow in the Dark Stripe is a dual-purpose anti-slip safety tile. The hazard stripe warns of a danger such as a step, ledge or change of level, and the glow in the dark strip keeps that warning visible in low light. The black abrasive Safety-Grip surface between the strips provides cost-effective slip prevention on the walking surface.
Orienting the tile correctly, with the stripes on the leading edge, gives maximum efficiency and safety: the edge is easier to see in daylight and the photoluminescent strip continues to show it when lighting is reduced or fails. Heskins notes the glow strip is intended as a low-light warning, not a constant light source. The pre-cut 150 mm x 610 mm format fits standard stair treads and is applied in minutes with its self-adhesive backing; the optimal application temperature is 10 C or above.
The tile can be custom printed with site-specific messages such as directional arrows, ROW B EXIT, RAMP START or other safety reminders.
