Heskins 140 x 140 mm Anti-Slip Tile with Yellow Reflective Stripe (Reflective Treads)
The Heskins 140 mm x 140 mm tile with yellow reflective stripe is a cost-effective, multi-functional safety product: a square anti-slip floor tile with a hi-viz reflective strip on one side. The abrasive Safety-Grip surface provides slip prevention while the yellow reflective strip reflects torch or emergency lighting to warn of hazards.
Steps and ledges are the suggested use. With the strip on the leading edge the step edge is clearly highlighted, and the compact square format makes it easier to lay tiles in lines that follow corners and 90-degree turns than a longer strip. Heskins also suggests narrow access points, plant rooms, service tunnels, storage cupboards and other tight or poorly lit spaces. The tile is self-adhesive and should be applied at 10 C or above.
Custom printing turns the tile into a marker as well as a tread, for example ISOLATION SWITCH, ACCESS PANEL or VALVE CHECK labels at the point of use.
