Heskins H8152 / H8154 Egress Glow in the Dark Tape Photoluminescent Escape Route Marking Tape
Heskins Egress Glow in the Dark tape is a smooth-surfaced photoluminescent tape designed for low-location marking of escape routes. The PVC base film is impregnated with photoluminescent powder that absorbs energy from natural or artificial light and releases it as a visible glow once external lighting fails. Unlike electrical emergency lighting it needs no power supply, wiring, batteries or maintenance, and it supports compliance with DIN 67510 and ISO photoluminescent safety way-guidance standards.
The tape is intended for areas not exposed to foot traffic: skirting boards, door frames, door handles, hand rails, stair stringers and equipment outlines, so that routes remain visible during a power outage in buildings, ships and aircraft. Two grades are available. H8152 Premium Grade is rated DIN 67510 Class C and glows for approximately 1,800 minutes (30 hours) before falling to 0.32 mcd/m2; H8154 Super Grade is Class A with approximately 450 minutes (7.5 hours). Both can be custom printed with text, symbols and arrows to the customer's layout.
