Heskins H6632 ECE104 Vehicle Reflective Tape - Microprismatic HGV Conspicuity Marking Tape
Heskins H6632 is an ECE 104 approved vehicle reflective marking tape used to outline the sides and rear of heavy goods vehicles and trailers so that they are visible to other road users at night and in poor weather. Its microprismatic surface reflects light directly back towards the source in a tight cone, giving far higher retroreflection than ordinary glass-bead tape: typically 360 cd/lx/m2 for white, 270 for yellow and 65 for red. The tape carries the E-mark, showing that it has been independently tested and approved to ECE 104.
The construction is a metallic film base covered by a plastic film that is heat-sealed along both edges, preventing water penetration and delamination, over a clear pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is impervious to corrosion and resistant to UV, vibration and regular vehicle washing. Because of the heat-sealed edges the tape is produced in 50 mm and 55 mm widths only. It is intended for rigid-sided vehicles on aluminium, stainless steel and automotive-painted surfaces, including flat, curved and recessed areas; curtain-sided trailers need a different product. Custom printing is available subject to minimum order quantities.
