Heskins H6604 High Intensity Reflective Tape - DIN 30710 Red/White Chevron Vehicle Reflective Tape
Heskins H6604 High Intensity Reflective Tape is the red and white chevron warning tape used on large vehicles, plant equipment, loading bays and signage to make edges and obstructions stand out in headlights and low light. The surface is covered with high-quality micro glass beads in a honeycomb formation that reflect most of the light back towards its source in a wide cone, giving 65 cd/lx/m2 (red) and 285 cd/lx/m2 (white).
The chevrons have a 100 mm linear width and are supplied in left-hand and right-hand versions so that a pair can point towards the centre of a vehicle or doorway; each white chevron carries the print 'DIN 30710/67520' along its edge. Heskins states the tape meets DIN 30710, DIN 67520 and DIN 6171, and that it is consistent with UNECE R104-class materials, ASTM D4956 Type III/IV high-intensity classification and EN 12899-1 RA2 (stated as 'likely' alignments, not formal approvals). Rolls are produced from 15 mm to 1220 mm wide in a standard 45.7 m length, with a total applied thickness of only 0.13 mm; die-cut pieces in any shape and custom printing (for example 'Caution: Low Clearance', 'Forklift Traffic', 'Reflective Edge: Keep Clear') are available.
