Heskins H5401 2mm Thick Coarse ResilientGrip Anti-Slip Tape for Stair Nosing Inserts
Heskins H5401 2 mm Thick Coarse ResilientGrip provides the same slip protection as the rest of the coarse resilient range but at 2 mm thickness. It was introduced for stair nosing inserts: many aluminium and PVC nosing profiles have a deep insert channel that needs a thicker tape to sit flush. Heskins describes it as one of the most competitively priced self-adhesive, anti-slip stair nosing inserts; an abrasive thick Safety-Grip is also offered for those who prefer a mineral grip.
The tape is embossed using the same technique as the other coarse resilient variants, giving a heavily textured non-abrasive surface that is waterproof, easy to clean and kind to skin and clothing. The thicker resilient base adds cushioning, traction and underfoot comfort and conforms to properly prepared surfaces, so it is also suited to other anti-slip uses, especially where barefoot or soft-soled traffic is common.
Heskins states an R10 rating for the product, backed by DIN 51130 ramp testing and BS 7976 pendulum testing. Five colours are available and samples can be requested before ordering.
