Heskins H3508 IPA Surface Cleaner for Anti-Slip Tape Application (1 Litre)
Heskins H3508 IPA Surface Cleaner is the surface preparation cleaner Heskins recommends before applying any of its self-adhesive anti-slip tapes, floor marking tapes, glow in the dark tapes or reflective tapes. A self-adhesive tape can only reach full bond strength on a clean, dry, grease-free substrate; H3508 removes contaminants and greasy residue so the adhesive can wet out properly and the tape stays down for its full service life.
The cleaner is based on isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Unlike methylated spirits or petrol it does not leave a greasy film behind, and because it is alcohol based it evaporates quickly, so the surface dries fast and tape can be applied almost immediately. It is supplied in 1 litre bottles and only a very small quantity is required for each application, making it a cost-effective part of every tape installation kit.
H3508 is part of the Heskins ancillaries range and is used together with the H3510 Keying Agent (for low-energy plastics), H3506/H3505 Surface Primer, H3502 Edge Fix sealant and the Heskins application squeegee and roller.
