Heskins H3502 Edge Fix Edge Sealer for Anti-Slip Tape
Heskins H3502 Edge Fix is an edge sealant designed to stop anti-slip tape lifting at its edges. It is applied onto both the substrate and the tape after installation. As it cures it shrinks into place, pressing and dragging the tape edge into position and holding it firmly. Only a small amount is needed - just enough to touch both the tape and the substrate.
Heskins recommends Edge Fix for heavy-traffic areas and anywhere the tape edge is subject to significant impact at sharp angles, the classic example being a non-slip stair tread on a stair nosing that is struck by heels. It is for use with Heskins anti-slip products including Safety-Grip tapes and anti-slip stair treads, indoors and outdoors.
The sealer comes in a tube with a very fine nozzle, similar to a large toothpaste tube, which allows accurate dispensing along the tape edge. It dries in around 10 to 15 minutes.
