Heskins H3452 / H3454 Glow in the Dark Anti-Slip Tape Non-Abrasive Photoluminescent
Heskins H3452 / H3454 Anti-Slip Glow in the Dark is the first non-abrasive photoluminescent anti-slip tape from Heskins. It uses new technology to extend luminance so the tape stays brighter for longer in lights-out conditions, while its resilient, non-abrasive surface gives dependable grip underfoot without the harshness of mineral grit. It marks stairways, walkways and exit routes so that evacuation remains possible from upper floors during a power failure.
Two grades are offered. H3452 Premium Grade is rated DIN 67510 Class C and glows for up to 1,800 minutes; H3454 Super Grade is Class A, glowing up to approximately 450 minutes. Both exceed the ASTM F2072 / OSHA 1910 requirement of 30 mcd/m2 initial luminance and 4.4 mcd/m2 at 60 minutes, and real-world afterglow after a 1.5-hour charge is 8-10 hours for H3452 and 4-6 hours for H3454. The tape conforms to DIN, ASTM and OSHA photoluminescent standards.
Because the surface has no peaks and valleys to harbour bacteria, it is easy to clean, will not damage cleaning equipment and is suited to areas with strict hygiene requirements, as well as areas exposed to bare feet or water. Slip resistance is rated R10, and dry/wet friction is tested with the TRL slider. Total applied thickness is 1.52 mm.
