Heskins H3447 Chemical Resistant Safety-Grip Anti-Slip Tape (3 grades: H3447, H3443, H3446)
Heskins H3447 Chemical Resistant Safety-Grip was specifically produced to be the most chemical-resistant anti-slip material in the Heskins range. It has the same appearance as Standard Safety-Grip, with the same grit, adhesion level and coefficient of friction, but the upper bonding resin that locks the aluminium oxide to the backing has been modified so that it withstands long-term exposure to high-concentration chemicals that would attack a standard tape.
The tape conforms to metal, sealed floors and machinery housings and is intended for industrial, laboratory and maintenance use: chemical handling zones, hazardous material transport routes, paths to emergency wash stations, steps and platforms on construction vehicles and heavy equipment. It is generally unaffected by water, soap solutions, harsher cleaning regimes and occasional exposure to petrochemicals. High-concentration MEK, toluene, strong acids and alkalis are listed as problem solutions, and mild cleaning agents trapped on the surface can damage the resin over time, so the surface should be rinsed. All grades share the same resin coating and differ only in grit size. Custom printing of instructional text, warning symbols and branding is available.
