Heskins H3407 Opaque Safety-Grip Yellow Anti-Slip Tape for Dark Surfaces
Heskins H3407 Opaque SafetyGrip was designed for one specific problem: yellow anti-slip tape applied to a black or strongly coloured floor can look dull because the substrate shows through the base film. H3407 takes the standard Heskins yellow 60-grit SafetyGrip and adds a white, opaque base layer that stops dark or strong colours showing through, so the yellow is not diluted even by a black base. The result is complete contrast for demarcation of step edges, platform edges and hazard zones on dark surfaces.
The anti-slip surface is the proven Heskins 60-grit mineral coating, rated R13 in accredited laboratory testing. The tape is built on a PVC base film with a total applied thickness of 0.9 mm +/-0.2 mm, low enough to avoid bulk under foot traffic or equipment while able to follow moderate contours. The surface is durable and non-reflective, which makes it suitable for theatres, cinemas, defence and other dimly lit or controlled-lighting spaces; Heskins can custom print low-visibility markings such as step indicators, directional cues and location identifiers that remain readable under torchlight or infrared. H3407 is currently produced in yellow only. Made in the UK by Heskins.
