Heskins H3406 Conformable Safety-Grip Anti-Slip Tape for Chequer Plate
Heskins H3406 Conformable SafetyGrip is the Heskins anti-slip tape for uneven and profiled metal surfaces. Durbar plate, chequer plate and diamond tread are used everywhere for fire exits, walkways, access platforms, truck steps and plant floors, but in practice they offer poor grip, particularly when wet or oily. A standard anti-slip tape applied over the pattern stretches across the raised bars, tries to return to flat and lifts away from the valleys. H3406 replaces the plastic base film with a very soft aluminium foil that has zero stretch and no memory: once pressed into the profile it stays there, giving a continuous abrasive surface over the whole plate.
The mineral grit surface is the same proven Heskins SafetyGrip coating, laboratory tested to R13. The foil construction also gives the product high flame retardancy, tested and certified to CAA FAA specification 8 for cockpit areas, and a wide service temperature range from -40 C to 160 C. Total applied thickness is 1.12 mm. Custom printing of hazard symbols or messages such as CAUTION: UNEVEN SURFACE is available, and custom colours can be produced to any Pantone or RAL reference depending on quantity.
