Heskins H3403D Glow in the Dark Hazard Anti-Slip Tape with Black Chevrons
Heskins H3403D Glow in the Dark Hazard Anti-Slip Tape is a variation of the Heskins standard glow in the dark anti-slip tape H3403 with printed black chevrons at 45 degrees. It gives a hazard warning in any lighting: by day the black and glow-green stripes read as a conventional hazard marking, and when the lights fail the photoluminescent base glows while the chevrons stay dark, so the warning pattern remains visible by contrast. It is intended for walkways, stairs, fire exits and machinery that people pass in low light or during a blackout.
Photoluminescence is built in at two levels. The plastic liner is itself photoluminescent, and the resin that holds the abrasive grit is impregnated with glow in the dark paste, so the glow is not masked by the grit. The anti-slip surface is the Heskins SafetyGrip mineral coating, rated R13 in accredited laboratories and tested to DIN, pendulum and ASTM regulations; certificates and approvals are available from Heskins. The product contains no radioactive materials. Total applied thickness is 1.05 mm +/-0.05 mm, slightly thicker than standard SafetyGrip.
Standard rolls are 18.3 m long and any length from 3 m to 100 m is feasible; widths run from 19 mm to 1168 mm and any width can be produced. Die-cut pieces are available in virtually any size, and Heskins can custom print text, arrows, symbols or zone identifiers (for example EVACUATION ROUTE, EXIT THIS WAY, STEP DOWN) that remain visible during a power outage.
