WS2 WITSTAR is Wolfram's exclusive in-house development with up to 2 wt.% of a proprietary rare-earth mixture for TIG and plasma applications. Wolfram cites outstanding arc ignition, maximum arc stability, minimal burn-off and maximum service life - a universal premium solution for all materials and for both manual and automated welding, and a thorium-free WTh alternative. The shop FAQ notes WS2 is particularly suitable for DC welding of high-alloy steels or nickel alloys.
Wolfram Industrie Premium Line electrodes are 100% precision manufactured in Germany from the highest-purity base material with a homogeneous structure and evenly distributed oxides. Each electrode is colour-coded, professionally cleaned and ready for immediate use, packed in a sturdy hard case with individual electrode compartments and a product label.
