Wolfram Industrie WP Pure Tungsten Tungsten Electrode 3.2 x 175 mm (Green, pack of 10)
WP electrodes are made only from tungsten powder of minimum 99.95% purity with no alloying elements, pressed, sintered and formed by rotary swaging, drawing and grinding. Because of the high electron work function (4.5 eV) the tip temperature rises and service life is comparatively short; Wolfram states WP is generally used only for AC welding, e.g. of aluminium and magnesium alloys.
Wolfram Industrie Premium Line electrodes are 100% precision manufactured in Germany from the highest-purity base material with a homogeneous structure and evenly distributed oxides. Each electrode is colour-coded, professionally cleaned and ready for immediate use, packed in a sturdy hard case with individual electrode compartments and a product label.
