Wolfram Industrie WI100 INOSTAR Rare-Earth Tungsten Electrode 2.4 x 175 mm (pack of 10)
INOSTAR WI100 (developed by Wolfram since 2013) contains up to 2 wt.% of a unique rare-earth blend and improves on WS2 with even better ignition, even lower burn-off and even longer service life. Wolfram recommends it for the high-purity joints needed in medicine, pharmaceuticals and food technology, and for sensitive metals such as titanium. In Wolfram's comparison test INOSTAR showed 41 mg burn-off vs 106 mg for WTh20 and 0.0% failures.
Wolfram Industrie Premium Line electrodes are 100% precision manufactured in Germany from the highest-purity base material with a homogeneous structure and evenly distributed oxides. Each electrode is colour-coded, professionally cleaned and ready for immediate use, packed in a sturdy hard case with individual electrode compartments and a product label. Manufacturing is certified to ISO 9001.
