Ready-to-Weld ORBISTAR electrodes are cut to length and precision ground on Wolfram's automated grinding station, so they can be used straight out of the box with no manual grinding. WS2 WITSTAR is Wolfram's proprietary rare-earth grade (up to 2 wt.%) for all materials and for manual and automated welding. Wolfram states weld-ready electrodes last 3 to 5 times longer than manually ground electrodes.
