RIFTEK 2D Optical Micrometer RF657R.2D-100
The RIFTEK RF657R.2D-100 is the largest model of the RF657R.2D series of 2D optical micrometers, the high accuracy, high speed line with extended range and a round field of view. It is designed for non-contact inline two-dimensional measurement of linear dimensions, diameters, angles, thread parameters, part shapes, run-out and other characteristics.
The micrometer works on the shadow principle. It consists of an optical sensor (emitter and receiver) and a controller. Light from the LED is collimated by the lens; when a part is placed in the collimated beam, its shadow image is projected by the receiver lens onto a 2D CMOS sensor, and the controller calculates the required parameters from the object profile. Up to four optical sensors can be connected to one controller, and a single web interface is used to configure the micrometer.

Order designation RF657R.2D-100-LP-LS-LI, where LP is the controller power cable length (m), LS the optical sensor power and sync cable length (m) and LI the Ethernet cable length (m, max. 100).
