The type 221 ATEX junction box from LE LAS provides Ex d IIC protected cable connections in hazardous areas. The case and cover are made of light metal protected by RAL2003 orange paint, and the cover is closed by two stainless steel screws with heads embedded in recesses on a sealing joint.
It is equipped with a 6-terminal card for 2.5 mm² wires and three Ex cable entries, with an external earth screw.
