BCH SMH600 DC Electromagnetic Shunt Shoe Brake (600 mm, 5423 Nm)
BCH SMH600 DC electromagnetic shunt shoe brake for a 23" / 600 mm brake wheel, torque rating 5423 Nm (4000 lbf ft) on continuous duty. BCH SM shunt type DC electromagnetic shoe brake conforming to AISE and NEMA standards, designed for heavy industrial and mill duty applications with 400, 600 and 800 range mill motors and other equipment where smooth, rapid and dependable stopping is required, including holding the load of hoists and elevators. Shunt coils are separately energised from a DC source, or from an AC source through a resistance & rectifier panel.
