BCH SS type heavy duty industrial plug with inclined handle 299/12B for control circuits, 12 contacts, 12A at 500V AC and DC (off-load decontactor). Uses spring-loaded butt-type silver-tipped contacts instead of pin-and-sleeve contacts, with positive bayonet-type fitting so the plug cannot be pulled out by its cable. Live parts are shrouded, the earth contact is always in the central position, and the socket has a spring-closed gasketted cover suitable for outdoor use and high-vibration conditions.
